“GeorgAnna, as well educated as she is, deeply respects science and peer-reviewed research. But she honors that science with the gravitas of the knowledge of what matriarchs, herbalists and healers in communities from the beginning have always known and borne upon themselves.
Women’s healthcare has been with us for as long as there have been people, but somehow even in this modern age our society has conditioned women to approach their own bodies with an unhealthy sense of shame and mystery. GeorgAnna will treat you, and treat you very well, but more importantly she will educate and affect how you view your own body and its enduring health in a positive way.
What sets GeorgAnna Wiley apart is her deep understanding of the interconnectedness of women’s health and community health. Her years working in a holistic way as midwife and her background working with midwives in Central America have honed an acute and very practical approach to treating physical and emotional trauma at its very source.
In the cold era of industrialized medicine and waiting in endless waiting rooms for 45 minutes at a time for a doctor or health care provider to examine, diagnose and treat customers in 10 minute visits, her methods and warm embrace of women as unique, living and breathing human beings is welcome and sorely needed. “

GeorgAnna is always so easy to talk to and understands how complex life can be. She has a huge knowledge base that covers many areas, and she knows how to use it to guide the body into doing what it’s meant to do best. - Rachel W.
I delivered my beautiful baby boy naturally at home in a warm water tub with the best midwife in the universe, right by my side. She wasn't just there to help me deliver my baby, she was also there for me at any moment's notice before and after delivery. She treated me like family and not just a patient. She was better than any doctor I had ever worked with and my precious (first) child WAS born in a hospital with doctors (although there was no complications, it was definitely not the experience I had hoped as a mother giving life). She spent time really getting to know me and she always provided well educated information and suggestions. She is opened mined and gentle. She planned workshops with other mothers and lended books to me. There was practically no question she couldn't answer or, at the very least, have an idea of how to get the information. My water broke at 12:01 AM. My partner called GeorgAnna and calmly got the house ready using the suggestions and plan we came up with her. Georganna arrived as quickly as possible which was impressive. And this allowed my partner to just sit with me in the tub, while GeorAnna took charge of getting everything else ready. Everything was exactly how I hoped it would be. GeorgAnna even sat and knitted me a little present for my baby while I was in labor... She never left my side and gave me strength when I felt like giving up.. It was the hardest and most beautiful experience of my life thanks to her. It was a calm labor with music playing, candles lit, dim lighting, prayer flags and a mother blessing necklace to help me focus, food/snacks laid out for everyone, aromatherapy, and an attentive and loving midwife to support us. There were moments I felt defeated by the pain but I never gave up and NOW I daydream about how magical the whole experience was. I'm so thankful to my loving midwife GeorgAnna. - Christine C.
